Visual Artist

Rachael Tanner is an artist and museologist from Brisbane, living and working in Hobart, Tasmania. Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Queensland College of Art, 2015, and Master of Museum & Cultural Studies at the University of Queensland, 2021. 

In her Visual Arts practice I utilise embodied, process-led practices experienced by the body as the groundwork for a multidisciplinary visual and cultural exploration. The art seeks to weave together divergent ideas and philosophies from ancient and modern understandings of our bio and somatic experience of oneself within, and the environment around us.
